Steve after long day
This was typical daily dress. Standard jungle fatiques .I always wore long sleeves to keep the sun off. Notice how dirty we were. The APC's were aways rolling on red clay roads during the dry season and of course it kicked up from the tracks in the lead and we drove thru it. The only dust protection we had was a bandana/handkerchief. No goggles were issued. I carried an M60 with a 50 round starter built and 2 or 3 hundred round 7.62 belts. Always word steel pots, and "sometimes" wore flack jackets when track mounted.
