Phlippines Clark Air base 2

After the emergency surgery for my appendix, I was flown to the Philipines for three days at Clark Airforce Base. From there we went to Guam for two hours on the tarmac and then on to Hawaii. Normally, GI"s were sent to Japan for recovery, but because I was going on R&R when it happened, the Red Cross intervened and I was sent to Hawaii to recover. Someone liked me upstairs.
