My Vietnam memories are sketchy at best. I don't remember names well so a lot of my photos won't have names attached. But photos are my only way of recalling where I was, who I was with and what I was doing. The reason may be because I was blown up by a land mine on my track right before leaving Vietnam.
My first Unit in Chu Chi was with the 1/5 for 3 months. Then I was transferred to the 2/22 that was the 4th Div. and then became the 25th Div. This is where I stayed until I left in April 1968.
I have 2 Purple Hearts and another one pending. I also received the Bronze Star.
